Weleda was founded in 1921 by a Dutch doctor, an Austrian philosopher and a chemist from Munich. Today Weleda's philosophy remains true to that of their founders - to create natural and organic products tailored to the specific needs of every person in order to promote good health and well being.

Weleda grow many of their own ingredients in their own herb gardens using BioDynamic farming and cultivation methods. The plants they grow are used to create powerful natural ingredients which are used in all their products.
