Yaweco produce ecologically sound oral hygiene products in their factory in the Black Forest in Germany. Their toothbrushes significantly reduce the amount of plastic used, as the handle can be reused many times, while only the head is replaced and disposed of. The head weighs just 2 grams while the handle weighs 17 grams, so the reduction of plastic used is clear to see when compared to single use plastic toothbrushes. The disposable head is made of renewable raw materials, 60% of which comes from biopolymers based on sugar components, which means the heads can be disposed of in your recyclable plastic.
